Ekovilla X barrier tape
The Ekovilla X barrier tape is a flexible, high-adhesion tape designed for sealing joints and seams in vapour barrier systems.

Material – Green polyethylene film
Reinforcement – Polyester fibres
Adhesive – Polyester mesh, acrylic (VOC-free: A+ class, solvent-free, plasticiser-free)
Amount of adhesive – 200–210 g/m²
Release liner – Siliconised coated paper, white
Thickness – 0.27 mm (EN 1942)
Adhesion strength – ≥ 25 N / 25 mm (EN ISO 29862)
Shear strength – 120 min, 500 g / 625 mm² (EN ISO 29863)
Vapour resistance – Sd approx. 30 m
Temperature resistance – -30°C / +80°C
Installation temperature – Above -10°C, recommended +5°C / +30°C
UV resistance – Up to 3 months
Initial adhesion – Up to 3 months
ADHESION INFORMATION
• Initial adhesion occurs immediately after installation, after pressing.
• Final adhesive strength at +5°C is achieved after approx. 24 hours after installation.
• At temperatures between -10°C and +5°C, final adhesion develops more slowly (within 72 hours or longer).
• Below -10°C, adhesive formation slows down, but accelerates again as temperature rises.
Ekovilla X sealing tape meets all requirements of DIN 4108-7, DIN 4108-11 (aging), EnEV, ÖNORM B 8110-2 and SIA 180, as well as European directives 2000/53/EC, 2002/95/EC and REACH.
