Calculate how many kilograms of material will be used for the given parameters
* Material consumption refers to dry application in selected building partitions. * Installation of insulation should be carried out using a professional blowing machine designed for installing loose-fill insulation materials. * The final density may differ from the values given in the table due to the type of blowing machine used, the applied installation technique, and the type of structure being insulated. * Higher densities than those specified in the table are acceptable. In the case of open attics, lower values than those listed in the table are permitted. Densities lower than those specified in the table should be considered individually.
In the case of subsequent transport of the structure, the density should be increased by 8–10% (max. 65 kg/m³). For open loose-fill application on ceilings, it is recommended to add 10% more material due to settlement.
